Almond Flour Pizza Crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, salt, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and oil until frothy.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until evenly combined.

  5. Form the dough into a ball, place it on a piece of parchment paper sprayed with cooking spray, then cover with another sprayed parchment sheet and roll the dough to 1/4 inch thickness.

  6. Peel away the top parchment, transfer the crust to a baking sheet, and bake for 15-20 minutes until crisp and browned.

  7. Add your choice of pizza toppings to the par-baked crust and return it to the oven for an additional 12-15 minutes.

  8. Remove the pizza from the oven and allow it to rest for 2-3 minutes before slicing; for a margherita, scatter fresh basil and drizzle with olive oil.
