All-American Sliders (Mini Burgers)

All-American mini beef sliders are a quick and enjoyable dish featuring ground beef, American cheese, ketchup, and mustard.

Instructions

  1. Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to medium heat.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, milk, salt, pepper, marjoram, and ketchup; let the mixture stand for 5 minutes.

  3. Add ground beef to the mixture and gently mix until combined.

  4. Form the meat into 10 to 12 mini burger patties, which can be chilled for up to 24 hours.

  5. Grill patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side until they reach 160 F, or pan-fry in a hot pan over medium-high heat until done.

  6. Top each burger with American cheese slices, then cover the grill or pan for 30 to 40 seconds to melt the cheese.

  7. Assemble the burgers on buns with tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, and pickles.
