Air Fryer Falafel Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350 F.

  2. In a food processor, combine onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, and flour; blend until finely minced.

  3. Add dried chickpeas to the food processor and pulse until just minced and blended with spices, avoiding over-processing.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours.

  5. Form the mixture into 12 balls, dusting with flour as needed, making only as many as fit the air fryer per batch.

  6. Spritz falafel balls with olive oil spray. Air fry for 15 minutes, flipping halfway, until lightly browned.

  7. Allow falafel to cool slightly in the air fryer basket before serving.

  8. Serve falafel with pita, hummus, tzatziki, or fresh vegetables.
