A Korean-Style Recipe for Grilled Squid

Instructions

  1. If not pre-cleaned, prepare squid by removing the beak, eyes, head, transparent bone, and outer membrane; then rinse and drain.

  2. Score squid bodies in a crisscross pattern.

  3. Combine all marinade ingredients.

  4. Marinate squid in a bowl or bag for 30 minutes.

  5. Preheat grill. Cook squid for 3 to 10 minutes until just opaque, brushing once with marinade and turning.

  6. Cut into rings or pieces for serving.
