A Better Butterbeer Recipe With or Without Alcohol
A rich mug of butterbeer can be prepared at home, served hot or cold, and customized with or without alcohol.

Combine cream, spices, butterscotch, and softened butter in a small bowl.

Whisk for 2 minutes until the mixture thickens and increases in volume slightly.

Chill the bowl in the freezer for 15 minutes, or refrigerate for at least 2 hours if not serving immediately.

Fill a frosty glass two-thirds full with cold vanilla cream soda.

Pour the chilled batter over the back of a spoon into the glass to form a floating layer.
