A Better Butterbeer Recipe With or Without Alcohol

Instructions

  1. Combine cream, spices, butterscotch, and softened butter in a small bowl.

  2. Whisk for 2 minutes until the mixture thickens and increases in volume slightly.

  3. Chill the bowl in the freezer for 15 minutes, or refrigerate for at least 2 hours if not serving immediately.

  4. Fill a frosty glass two-thirds full with cold vanilla cream soda.

  5. Pour the chilled batter over the back of a spoon into the glass to form a floating layer.

  6. Serve immediately.
