7-Minute Fluffy White Frosting

Instructions

  1. Start simmering water in the bottom of a double boiler.

  2. Combine egg whites, sugar, water, corn syrup, and salt in the top bowl.

  3. Beat the mixture with an electric mixer for one minute off heat, then place the bowl over the simmering water without touching it.

  4. Continue beating for approximately 6 minutes until the frosting becomes white, fluffy, and forms stiff peaks.

  5. Remove from heat, incorporate vanilla, and apply immediately to frost cakes or cupcakes.
