30-Minute Veal Marsala With Mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 F.

  2. Season the veal cutlets with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour.

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook veal in batches, turning once, until browned and cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes total.

  4. Remove the veal and transfer it to the preheated oven to keep warm.

  5. In the same skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms and cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes until tender and browned.

  6. Stir in the chicken broth and Marsala wine. Increase heat to high and cook until the liquid reduces by half.

  7. Stir in the lemon juice. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

  8. Return the veal to the pan and coat with the sauce and mushrooms.
