2020 Dumpster Fire Pie

A layered banana chocolate peanut butter pie combines creamy pudding, chocolate peanut butter candies, and malted chocolate balls, crowned with torched marshmallow.

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix crushed vanilla wafers and melted butter.

  2. Press the crumb mixture into a 9-inch pie pan, covering the bottom and sides; refrigerate for 10 minutes.

  3. Whisk pudding mix and milk in a large bowl for 2 minutes until thick.

  4. Fold in whipped topping.

  5. Cover the crust with one sliced banana.

  6. Spread 1/3 of the banana pudding filling over the banana layer.

  7. Layer with peanut butter cups and chocolate malt balls.

  8. Top with another 1/3 of the banana pudding filling.

  9. Layer with the second sliced banana.

  10. Spoon the remaining 1/3 of the banana pudding filling over the pie and refrigerate for about 20 minutes to set.

  11. Before serving, cover the pie completely with marshmallow fluff.

  12. Use a kitchen torch to toast the marshmallow peaks until golden.
